History of the Church and Social Research

We are now delighted to be able to draw your attention to the link installed on the “History” pages of our website. A click on the title of the book will take you to the full text of Colán McArthur’s “Dunfanaghy’s Presbyterian Congregation and its Times” and will enable you to scroll through the entire book at your leisure.

This has come about through the kind permission and support of Mrs Bridget McArthur (Marble Hill) and assistance from the McArthur family, Mrs Valerie Adams (Librarian, Presbyterian Historical Society), and our website designer Pat McAllen. Our sincere thanks are due to all of the above and we look forward to hosting those pursuing all aspects of our History – ancestry, society, religion, politics, etc. – or simply browsing for interest and pleasure.

(Efforts are proceeding to add further material to the History section by updating information on personalities and developments from 1978 to the present.)
