Jim Lamont’s Donegal Hospice Concert
This money represents the latest tranche of proceeds from Mr Lamont’s book Highland Reflections, and the cheque was presented during a concert at An Grianán Theatre in Letterkenny organised by the clergyman on September 7
in aid of the hospice. Mr Lamont was formerly minister of Dunfanaghy and Carrigart Presbyterian Churches and serves as Presbyterian chaplain to Donegal Hospice and Letterkenny Hospital. His two books, Highland Inspiration and Highland Reflections, have now raised a total of €58,816 for the hospice and a further £19,000 for the Laurel House Cancer Unit at Antrim Hospital. Highland Reflections is still available at local bookshops.
